  Put open source to work.

Who is using open source?

Virtually everyone, whether they know it or not.

Virtually everyone uses open source software. The obvious users are those who run Linux on their desktop instead of Windows, or the companies who run Linux on their servers, instead of Windows or Unix. And the number of users who do run Linux on the desktop or server is significant. Beyond the Linux users, though, is everyone else: those, for example, who surf web sites that are served up by open source web servers or related software, and those who use commercial products that incorporate open source components. Software today, open source or commercial, is built on other software, in other words, libraries or components, which are quite often open source. Which makes sense. Which is why we do it.
